About the Artist:
Dr. Ahmed Selim is a professor of mural painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Minia University, and the former head of the department. He earned his Ph.D. in the philosophy of art in 2005 and has been an active presence in the art scene since 1991. His works have been featured in major exhibitions and acquired by museums and art institutions in Egypt and across Europe, cementing his reputation as one of the most influential mural painters of his generation.
About the Exhibition:
Tales from Ramadi draws inspiration from Selim’s hometown in Aswan, reflecting the cultural richness and everyday life of Upper Egypt. Through vivid and expressive compositions, the works capture the essence of memory, tradition, and belonging.
